Madison River - Flyfishing Trip

Gary went fishing with John, who is a guide at Slide Inn.  The trip was a lot of fun and Gary caught a lot of fish.  The largest was an 18-1/2" brown trout.  Gary mainly worked on streamer fishing which uses big hair flies. What a wonderful way to end a great flyfishing trip.

Norris Geyser Basin - Yellowstone National Park

We hike around the Porcelain Basin and Back Basin (about 2 miles).  We had a beautiful sunny and warm day for the hike.  On the way home from West Yellowstone we saw a badger crossing the road.

Yellowstone Park - Old Faithful

We spent the day hiking around Old Faithful and the Upper Gyser Basin.  It rained so hard we were soaked even though we had rain gear on.  The ranger near Old Faithful told us that six people had been hit by lightning in the past week.
